Our history
From 2004 to today
MCF "Nuri Humo" continues to grow and provide financial services to the population of Tajikistan. The fund supports clients in achieving their personal, family and business goals, offering accessible loan solutions and an individual approach.
Since 2022, MCF "Nuri Humo" has been issuing joint loans with "Humo". This has expanded financing opportunities and made access to loan products more convenient and flexible.
On November 1, 2013, the fund was registered as the “Nuri Humo” Microcredit Fund. Its primary focus is providing microloans to the population of the Republic of Tajikistan.
The history of the “Nuri Humo” International Microfinance Foundation began under the name “Humo” Microfinance Foundation. The foundation succeeded CARE International’s microcredit program in Tajikistan. Following the adoption of the Law of the Republic of Tajikistan “On Microfinance,” the program was transformed into a local foundation providing accessible financial services to the public. In December 2004, the “HUMO” Microfinance Fund was officially registered with the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Tajikistan.
